Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a gentle and compassionate form of therapy which views your inner world as being like a family, with the goal of returning the internal system to a state of balance and harmony, with Self (your core being) in the lead.

This powerfully transformative, evidence-based model of psychotherapy sees the human mind as being naturally multiple (different 'parts' or 'sides' of us). This is a good thing, as our inner parts contain valuable qualities as well as burdens which our core Self knows how to heal, allowing us to become integrated and whole. In IFS all parts are welcome.
